Fist day here and I have already seen so much. One day, and I´m already feeling at home. It is hard to believe this is going to be my reality from now on, but it sure is something to look forward to.
I arrived at six in the morning, forcing my all too willing aunt and uncle to jump out of bed at extremely early hours. The airplane ride had been long, and, you´ll never guess, with TWO cats; I do mean two cats. It was a relief to pass the doors and find them waiting for me. The long ride here was full of awe. I had never seen a place so white.
At home I was able to take a good, awaited shower. But, my aunt didn´t want to waste time. Off we were around neighbourhoods and in side stores, always at a high, practical speed. Later on, a shocking moment happened, I was off walking with my cousin to the ice skating place two blocks away, when we ran to pass the light. I accidentally dropped my gloves. The man in the car honked and told us, even though the light was green. I mean, this is a total change from my country. And Will (cousin) even told me that everyone stops for pedestrians, no need to worry. This was like the most wow moment ever.
The rest of the day passed in a blur. I mean for me it is already 10:30pm, but in Toronto, only seven thirty. I am almost dropping dead.
